That pause is a design decision, not a technical limit. A quote is a promise with a price on it, and nobody wants a promise they didn't make going out under their name.
Where the human belongs
Our rule of thumb: let the AI do the reading, the maths, and the remembering, and keep people on anything that commits the business. Speed comes from removing drudgery, not from removing judgement.
